Shaykh sadiq habannaka al Maydani 1918 (1338 H)

Shaykh sadiq b. Marzuq b. Arabi b. Ghunaym habannaka al-Maydani was born around the year 1918 (1338 H) in the suburb of Maydan which was one of the famous suburbs of Damascus in Syria. This area was known for many prominent personalities and for the inhabitants who adhered to many noble Arab characteristics.

His mother was Khadijah al-Misri who was a righteous woman from the south of Damascus. She passed away in 1351 after she returned from hajj.
